DADIRRI is an Aboriginal word describing contemplation, deep inner listening and quiet, still awareness. It is a 'tuning in' experience with the specific aim to come to a deeper understanding of the beauty of nature.

Driven by the belief in the power of nature to heal the human spirit and the need to help protect our planet, Caroline Arpa founded the creative collaborative STUDIO DADIRRI in 2019. During the past 15 years, she has professionally practiced architecture, interior architecture, worked within the field of construction along the west coast and taught architectural design studios at Arizona State University.

Originally from South Florida and having spent long stints with her family in Catalonia, Spain, Caroline has gained an appreciation for the cultural and natural diversity that exists on our planet. Her work aspires to reveal an understanding of place through the built form.

Her passion lies in being of service to others, helping create a sense of contemplative quiet thru the connection to nature while minimizing our environmental impact through the choices we make.

She is a licensed Architect in the state of California and a LEED Accredited Professional. In her free time she loves to hand draw with mixed media, swim outdoors, practice yoga, hike, cook, spend time with her family and be in nature.
